the tea sheds
have a story
to tell.
These once bustling buildings, owned by Helen Cadbury, now lie derelict and beyond repair. We have the privilege of restoring this historical site’s legacy by building a new home. A home that will bring life to our community for generations to come.
By building a new home for Riverside Church; a centre for the community; extra space for schools; and a hub to bless our city, this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
Are you ready to play your part in the story?
the
opportunity
ahead
Our application for the land has been approved by Birmingham City Council. The first stage is negotiating the 199-yr lease along with the full design phase. Once full planning permission has been granted, and once funding has been secured, we will be able to begin building.
This is where we all get to play our part, by financially supporting the project. We are now inviting people to give and pledge their financial support to the project.
your
response
matters
This project will only happen if everyone plays their part. The widow’s two coins, the business-owners gift, the student’s monthly £15, the investment profits — every contribution matters. Nobody is too small to make a difference and nobody is too established to be generous.
We are asking people to complete the form linked below, either with a financial gift they can make now, or with a pledge that they can commit to giving over a certain time period.
